Unpaid caregivers are our province’s unsung heroes. Each year, they provide 647 million hours of caregiving across the province: an economic contribution valued at $12 billion.
Caregivers are essential to a thriving community, but the challenges of caring for someone else often lead to loneliness, isolation, financial hardship, emotional distress, and burnout.
Without their love and sacrifice, our healthcare system would collapse.
